Nontoxic Privacy Policy

Nontoxic uses your camera or selected photos to read product labels, extract ingredient text with on-device OCR, and send the recognized text to the analysis backend so the app can return ingredient guidance.

Data used by the app

• Photos are used only when you choose to scan from the camera or photo library.
• Recognized ingredient text is sent to the backend API for analysis.
• Scan history and preferences may be stored locally on your device to support app features.
